| * ABOUT DR. ANTHONY J.CARUSO * As a native of Southampton, New York, Dr. Caruso grew up in the area before attending College of the Holy Cross, in Worchester MA where he received his Bachelor of Science in psychology as well as completing all the requirements for pre-medical/dental studies. Dr. Caruso then went on to attend New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Following graduation he completed a one year post-graduate General Practice Residency at St. Charles hospital, in Port Jefferson, New York. Dr. Caruso is an active member of the American Dental Academy, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental society, the Suffolk County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Caruso received his certification in Invisalign in 2006, and is also ACLS/BLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support) certified. He is currently working to earn his fellowship degree in Implant Dentistry, and is attending the Implant Maxicourse presented at New York University. Dr. Caruso is committed to being at the forefront of modern dental techniques and technology, and has already taken various continuing education courses. Dr. Caruso is currently located in Southampton, New York in his own private dental practice. He is located on Country Rd 39A, sharing the same building as his father, Anthony P. Caruso M.D., F.A.C.S., who has been in practice for 30 years as an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist. Dr. Caruso’s Grandfather Anthony Caruso was also native to the area and was a pharmacist who owned South Thrify Drugs on Main Street in the village of Southampton. Dr. Caruso resides in Southampton with his wife Sarah and dog Joey. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, outdoor activities, and has a passion for racing and restoring vintage automobiles. |
